Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Interim Finance Director, you will:
1. Provide strategic financial leadership and direction to clients, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. 2. Analyze financial data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement. 3. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. 4. Prepare and present financial reports to clients, stakeholders, and senior management. 5. Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored financial solutions. 6. Lead and manage financial projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. 7. Collaborate with other members of the consulting team to provide comprehensive business solutions. 8. Provide training and mentorship to junior finance team members.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Consulting Interim Finance Director role will have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred. 2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial management role, with a proven track record of success. 3. Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. 4. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. 5. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team. 6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. 7. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 8. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. 9. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients.
