Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage daily SSOP, GMP, CCP, and PC checks, ensuring all beverage production processes meet established quality standards. Conduct and supervise testing of product samples (e.g., pH, brix, color, organoleptic evaluations) and release batches based on results. Monitor equipment calibration (e.g., pH meters, refractometers) and maintain lab operations according to scheduled shifts. Verify production and packaging activity, including lot numbers, labeling, net weight, and other product specifications, ensuring full compliance and traceability. Lead investigations into quality issues, manage hold procedures, and coordinate corrective actions in collaboration with R&D and production teams. Supervise and train QC associates, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols. Conduct internal audits, manage product specifications, and coordinate rework operations as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field preferred; minimum 5 years of QC experience in the food/beverage industry. Strong knowledge of HACCP, SSOP, and GMP practices, with hands-on experience in beverage production. Proven leadership and communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) is an advantage. Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
