AVP/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - MARATHON
Salary Range: $80,000 - 90,000 per year depending upon experience and education.

The primary responsibility of the AVP, Business Development Manager is to identify, acquire and grow new relationships (Residential, Commercial, and Consumer) and develop and maintain a referral network, as well as achieve established sales targets, promote various banking services and refer new accounts, and close loan transactions.
Position Responsibilities:
Create strategies focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction in providing Lending and Deposit products, as well as other ancillary products as applicable Work with business owners and community members to increase bank branding and recognition: initiate calling efforts on new and existing customers; and increase market share while ensuring that customers receive excellent services. Maintain relationships with current clients and identify potential new clients, specifically within the banking sector, through participation in community events as a brand ambassador for the Bank. In addition to own source follow up on leads given by the branch and line of business partners including lenders, corporate services, and retail staff to expand current customers and attract new banking relationships. Accurately discuss the features, costs, and potential benefits of a wide variety of complex products and services that may help meet consumer and business owner's needs, compile and complete required documentation with a high degree of accuracy. Conduct research to identify new markets, and customer needs, with a focus on banking products and services. Arranging business development meetings with prospective clients. Provide feedback and after-sales support to clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction in banking services. Strong and consistent communication with the SVP/Market Lending Leader regarding goals, sales calls, pipeline, follow-up and customer interactions; This position requires that the employee is out of the branch calling on clients and potential clients Responsibilities also include other duties as assigned by the SVP, Market Lending Leader Essential Job Functions:
Essential job functions include the employee occupying this position frequently will be required to perform sales calls on both existing potential clients, update and communicate sales activities with management and line of business partners, therefore requires a valid driver's license and own transportation. Conduct joint calling with line of business partners and members of management. Participate in community events as an ambassador for the Bank while working to expand market share. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 40 percent of the time; frequently operate a telephone, computer, printer, copier, and fax machine; and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Required Education & Experience :
A Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, finance, or related field or equivalent work experience. Three or more years prior banking (or related field) experience. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM Software, market knowledge, communication and negotiation skills
