Job Summary:
The Product Owner will lead the rollout of ServiceNow across the enterprise, replacing the current ITSM ticketing management system (Cherwell). This role involves creating workflows, automating processes, and ensuring seamless transition and functionality for Stores, Distribution Centers, and Corporate Offices. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with ServiceNow, IT ticketing systems, and Agile methodologies, and demonstrates strong leadership and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead the migration of the ITSM ticketing management system from Cherwell to ServiceNow ITSM.
•Define, manage, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with business objectives.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop workflows and automation processes within ServiceNow.
•Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
•Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development efforts.
•Work closely with business analysts and vendor partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
•Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and resolve blockers.
•Drive innovation by implementing automation and workflow improvements over time.
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
•4+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in a product owner role.
•Extensive experience with ServiceNow and IT ticketing systems.
•Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and user story creation.
•Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, and SharePoint.
•Familiarity with APIs, data feeds, and their role in digital environments.
•Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
•Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience in the retail industry.
•Familiarity with eCommerce APIs and data feed management.
•Ability to align teams around shared goals and drive organizational decisions.
•Experimental mindset to promote innovation and team development.
