Are you ready to bring your accounting skills to the next level? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Fund Accountant to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, and conducting detailed variance analysis. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP, Financial Accounting, and Fund Accounting. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. 2. Conduct detailed variance analysis to understand the nature of each line item on the balance sheet. 3. Maintain and implement internal controls over financial reporting. 4. Perform advanced Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs for data analysis and reporting. 5. Manage the accounting for private equity real estate funds and private credit. 6. Prepare and review fund-level financial statements including the Statement of Net Assets and Statement of Operations. 7. Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a successful and timely completion of the audit process. 8. Assist with ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required by management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or related roles. 3. Strong knowledge of GAAP, Financial Accounting, and Fund Accounting. 4. Proficiency in advanced Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs. 5. Experience in accounting for private equity real estate funds and private credit is a plus. 6. Strong understanding of balance sheet and variance analysis. 7. Demonstrated ability to maintain and implement internal controls over financial reporting. 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 9. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. 10. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information. 11. CPA designation or working towards obtaining CPA designation is preferred.
