About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry to join our team in the Health Care Services industry. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients in the DOC - Central Cell Block, 21 location. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to our patients. Your role will be critical in helping patients manage their mental health conditions and improve their overall well-being.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Nursing * Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license * Certification in Psychiatry * Experience in providing psychiatric care to patients
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in a correctional facility * Bilingual in English and Spanish * Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
* Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions * Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including medication management and therapy * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients * Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary * Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options
Skills:
As a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry, you will utilize your strong clinical skills and knowledge of psychiatric care to provide comprehensive treatment to patients. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and their families. Additionally, you will need to be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Your ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals will be critical in providing the highest quality of care to our patients. Finally, your experience in providing psychiatric care and certification in Psychiatry will be essential in this role.
