Job Details

Position Overview This role reports to the Assistant IT Manager and is responsible for supporting IT systems, with a primary focus on the Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The ideal candidate will have prior experience with MES, especially in the automotive industry, and a strong background in Microsoft SQL support.

Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience. Experience: Prior experience in information systems, preferably in a manufacturing/automotive setting. 5+ years working with relational database technologies (e.g., SQL Server). Hands-on experience with various development technologies. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in database design and implementation. Basic programming skills in HTML, JavaScript, and C#. Working knowledge of web technologies (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, XML, AJAX). Debugging frameworks and IT infrastructure knowledge (e.g., servers, networks). Interpersonal Skills: Results-oriented and well-organized. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Creative problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Experience Knowledge of MES standards and templates. Hands-on experience with shop floor solutions (e.g., PLCs, databases, supervisor PCs). Familiarity with JIT/JIS and batch manufacturing in the automotive industry. Experience with Microsoft .Net or Java development. Exposure to organizational projects or change management practices.
