Job Details: We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly analytical Plant Controller to join our team. This is a permanent position that will play a key role in our financial planning, budgeting, and cost accounting processes. You will be responsible for the financial health of our plant, providing crucial financial reports, and implementing effective financial strategies to ensure our financial growth and stability. You will also be responsible for improving our financial processes and managing our financial performance.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial operations of the plant, including budgeting, cost accounting, financial reporting, and forecasting. Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement effective financial strategies and plans to ensure the financial health and growth of the plant. Lead the financial planning process, ensuring that all financial plans align with the plant's strategic goals. Implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations. Manage the performance of the financial team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality performance. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Collaborate with other plant leaders to make informed financial decisions. Utilize Epicor software to streamline financial operations and processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry preferably in metal machining or aerospace. Proven experience in budgeting, cost accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, financial analysis, financial planning, process improvement, and performance management. Proficiency in Epicor software. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to make informed and strategic financial decisions. Knowledge of financial regulations and standards in the manufacturing industry. Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
