Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing for our diverse workforce. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, familiarity with construction industry payroll practices, and exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Process bi-weekly payroll for employees accurately and on time. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations. Manage payroll adjustments, including bonuses, commissions, overtime, and deductions. Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any payroll discrepancies. Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed. Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations that affect the construction industry. Handle inquiries and requests related to payroll from employees and management. Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and ensure security of payroll data. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax requirements, and compliance issues. Proficiency in SAP payroll software and MS Office. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
