Job Details
Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial operations of the plant, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and regulatory requirements. Manage the plant's budget and financial forecasts, including identifying cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement. Lead risk management efforts, including identifying potential financial risks and implementing mitigation strategies. Work closely with plant management to develop strategic plans and initiatives, providing financial expertise and guidance. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Provide leadership and direction to the plant's finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Participate in cross-functional projects, providing financial expertise and managing project budgets as required. Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role within the manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proven experience in risk management and compliance. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional business analysis skills with the ability to provide insightful and actionable financial information. Proven experience in performance management, with the ability to drive business performance. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills. Experience with financial management software is a plus.
