Project Manager: As a Project Manager at Mears Construction, you will collaborate directly with the PMO to implement and maintain robust project management processes. This role is pivotal in supporting the Director of Operations and/or Operations Manager in establishing a consistent model for tracking projects within blanket contracts and awarded bid projects. What Do You Offer Us: Understanding, forecasting, and communicating project workload within the division. Tracking, monitoring, and working closely with the estimating team on all bids from receipt to submittal. Collaborating with managers to develop proposals and production estimates. Providing consistent and reliable information to all operations by implementing and maintaining a strong Project Management System. Negotiating with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors. Developing project schedules, and balancing tasks, resources, and financial goals. Reviewing production schedules, work progress, asset utilization, and collaborating with managers to make corrective actions to meet production and profit goals. Implementing and maintaining project execution planning and management to ensure the timely completion of assigned projects. Managing internal and external resource allocation, overseeing both internal and customer-driven processes. Adhering to PMO established Project Management principles. Salary ranges from $125K to 150K per year based on experience. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction field with an emphasis on project management, estimating, and/or scheduling. Ability to travel when needed to support multiple operating units nationwide, up to 50%. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel and MS Project or Primavera P6. Strong communication and customer service skills. Demonstrate progressive skills in job knowledge, communication, planning, collaboration, decision-making, judgment, and problem-solving. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
