Job Description
Bridget Killen with Robert Half is looking for an HR Generalist in OREGON. As an integral part of our team, you will be involved in a variety of HR functions, from recruitment and benefits administration to employee relations and compliance.
Responsibilities include:
• Actively participating in the HR team, promoting trust, integrity, equity, and solutions-oriented approaches
• Assisting with the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
• Administering employee benefits and answering queries about benefits programs
• Providing support for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and policy interpretation
• Ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations, and updating policies as necessary
• Overseeing new employee orientation and ensuring employees are properly integrated into the organization
• Collaborating on DEIA initiatives and upholding equity in all HR practices
• Generating and analyzing HR reports to track metrics for relevant departments and leadership
• Serving as the primary point of contact for HR inquiries, providing timely support and resolutions to employee questions
• Assisting with UI and WC claims and processing employment verification requests
• Overseeing the exit process and collaborating with necessary staff for offboarding activities
• Presenting HR-related information and training materials to staff and leadership
• Maintaining accurate and organized HR files
• Utilizing software such as Ceridian, Dayforce, and Bamboo to streamline HR processes
• Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to support positive organization outcomes and employee engagement.

• Extensive experience with benefit functions including administration and coordination
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Thorough understanding of compliance regulations and standards in human resources
• Strong background in managing and improving employee relations
• Demonstrated knowledge of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) procedures and regulations
• Skilled in using Bamboo HR software
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
