Job Title: Accounting Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager (6 month contract) to oversee the daily operations and accounting results of the Corporate Accounting team. This role includes managing accounting and control processes for areas such as Benefits, Treasury, capital transactions, and intercompany accounting and reporting. The position involves people management of three direct reports and reviewing results completed by outsourced partners. The role also entails leading benefit plan audit planning processes, partnering with Global Accounting Organization team members, and supporting optimal capital structure through collaboration with cross-functional business partners in Treasury and Tax. Additionally, the position oversees certain statutory reporting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Corporate Accounting team.

  • Manage accounting and control processes for Benefits, Treasury, capital transactions, and intercompany accounting and reporting.

  • Supervise three direct reports and review results from outsourced partners.

  • Lead benefit plan audit planning processes, including staff oversight and process optimization.

  • Partner with Global Accounting Organization team members and cross-functional business partners in Treasury and Tax to support accounting and reporting.

  • Oversee certain statutory reporting processes.

Essential Skills

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting

  • CPA with Big 4 or national public accounting experience

  • 7+ years relevant experience in corporate accounting, audit, financial reporting, etc.

  • 1-2 years of people management experience

  • Aptitude for broad US GAAP subject matter, including codification research and documentation expertise

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Results-oriented, proactive, and agile

  • Strong communication skills and superior problem-solving ability

  • People management experience

  • Highly organized and able to manage and prioritize evolving priorities

  • SAP experience is a plus

Work Environment

This is a six-month contract position with the possibility of extension. You will oversee the daily operations and accounting results of the Corporate Accounting team. The role includes people management of three direct reports and reviewing results completed by outsourced partners. The work environment is dynamic, and you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve optimal capital structure.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $68.00
