Accounting Coordinator
Part Time Days | 20 hours per week | Hybrid
Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio is currently seeking an Accounting Coordinator based out of our home office in Columbus, Ohio.

The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for managing the AP process for the agency through the automated AP system. Provides information to internal customers and external vendors as necessary. Provides other support as necessary to the Finance Department.

Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio is currently seeking an Accounting Coordinator based out of our home office in Columbus, Ohio.

The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for managing the AP process for the agency through the automated AP system. Provides information to internal customers and external vendors as necessary. Provides other support as necessary to the Finance Department.
What will I do as an Accounting Coordinator with Lutheran Social Services:
- Manages exceptions in the automated AP system and ensures all vendor payments are approved, printed, and mailed in a timely manner
- Reviews AP batches and imports into accounting software
- Assists with building and maintaining business rules in the automated AP system
- Reviews and posts daily cash entries and manages bank and account reconciliations
- Prepares misc 1099 annually
- Works with Finance Director to manage cash flows, specifically check runs and cash forecasting
- Assists with budget process as necessary
- Performs any and all other duties assigned.
Requirements for an Accounting Coordinator with Lutheran Social Services:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prefer minimum 1-2 years accounting or similar experience or equivalent level of education and experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Competent with computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- Previous experience using accounting software is preferred.
