JOB SUMMARY
This is an entry-level to early-career administrative opportunity supporting the Recruiting Team within the HR Department at Stacy and Witbeck Inc, and our subsidiary Modern Railway Systems. We are seeking a proactive individual looking for growth opportunities within the talent acquisition space with a sincere interest in Heavy Civil Construction. This role is pivotal in keeping our team organized, handling logistics surrounding recruiting events and conducting research to identify top talent!

REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ year required related experience
- Associates Degree required
- A wide array of degrees may suit this role: Administrative, HR, Psychology, Communications, those considering a construction career with experience/exposure to the labor/trades side are highly encouraged to apply.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Those with attention to detail, solid follow-up, and a desire to support a team will thrive in this role.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
- Handling of confidential information in a responsible and ethical manner is required.
- This position is in-office.
- Valid drivers license
PREFERENCES
- 2+ years of experience in staffing coordination or an HR-related environment
- Knowledge of labor and employment laws a plus
- Proficiency in databases and MS Office products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- An eagerness to learn, coachability and determination to succeed will be an A+ candidate
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages all logistics for recruiting related events
- Event registration
- Sending calendar invites to participants with pertinent event information
- Attending nation-wide recruiting events
- Outreach to schools and student organizations
- Handles shipping logistics as needed
- Assist with various research (schools we recruit at, organization we should partner with, market research etc)
- Talent Acquisition
- Posting job opportunities via our website, social media and other job boards
- Assist with categorizing candidates in proper talent pools within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Assist with reviewing candidate resumes
- Assist with compensation data research
- Assist with gathering data for Hiring Plans and Job Description creation
- General Organization
- Keeping various event tracking spreadsheets up to date via Teams
- Keeping event folders up to date via Box.com
- Filing important event logistical information, registration confirmations, payment confirmations and collected resumes etc.
- Marketing
- Opportunity to create new marketing content and collateral
- Ordering of recruiting related swag and marketing materials
- Talent Development
- Provide support for the Talent Development team as needed
