Kadiak LLC, a subsidiary of Koniag Government Services, is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Project Manager to lead and oversee regulatory document and records management efforts within a contract environment. This critical role requires exceptional project management skills, extensive knowledge of records management processes, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: The Project Manager will be responsible for: Manage and oversee regulatory document and records management projects, ensuring successful execution, adherence to project objectives, and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Lead and direct a team of specialty and line managers, delegating tasks, fostering ownership and responsibility, and providing guidance and mentorship. Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, integrating and managing life cycle regulatory document operations, including high-volume automated and manual document processing, as well as scientific data abstraction operations. Utilize contemporary project management tools and methodologies, applying core principles of effective management, such as delegation, ownership, responsibility development, and tracking. Establish and maintain effective communication channels with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), Task Order/Delivery Order Project Manager (TO/DO PM), FDA management, user organizations, and technical staff, ensuring timely and transparent communication. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements, expectations, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project progress, identify risks and potential issues, and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery. Prepare and present comprehensive project reports, status updates, and presentations to senior management and clients, summarizing project performance, risks, and key metrics. Develop and implement file plans, records inventories, and records disposition schedules, demonstrating extensive knowledge of life-cycle records management processes. Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment, promoting continuous process improvement and adherence to best practices. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required) in business administration, public administration, or a field closely related to records management. Ability to obtain a Public Trust Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing similar records management projects, preferably in a contract environment. Proven track record of client customer service and stakeholder management. Education and experience can be combined to satisfy the requirement. Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to plan, execute, and deliver complex projects within defined constraints. In-depth knowledge of records management processes, including file plans, records inventories, and disposition schedules. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively delegate tasks, foster ownership and responsibility, and provide guidance and mentorship. Proficiency in contemporary project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, mitigate issues, and make sound decisions. Expertise in resource management, including budgeting, scheduling, and personnel allocation. Knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, and best practices related to document management, records management, and data security. Desired Skills and Competencies: Experience in a government or regulated environment, with a deep understanding of federal contracting processes and compliance requirements. Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and tools. Knowledge of change management principles and practices. Understanding of quality assurance and quality control processes for document management and data integrity. Proficiency in stakeholder management and effective communication strategies with clients and senior management. Experience in leading and mentoring project management professionals.
