Operations Validation Engineer

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our humanoid robot, Figure 02, is designed for commercial tasks and the home. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. It’s time to build.We are looking for an Operational Validation Engineer to define and execute our test campaign to ensure deployment readiness for our robot fleet. Responsibilities: Define and execute test programs to ensure operational readiness for customer site deployment of our robot fleetDocument and close the loop on issues encountered during testing that impact operational readinessDetermine and communicate what changes are needed in the robotic system to increase up time and performanceDefine, document, and train others on operational procedures for robot testing, shipment, and storagePlan logistics for shipping robots and associated equipment to customer sitesRequirements: 5+ years experience performing rigorous testing of complex electromechanical systemsStrong background in transitioning products from lab to real-world environmentsExcellent communication skillsDegree in science or engineering, or equivalent experienceWillingness to travel up to 25% for off-site integration and testingBonus Qualifications: Prior service in the militaryPrior experience working with robotic systemsThe US base salary range for this full-time position is between $140,000 - $220,000 annually.The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
