This position requires a Compliance Manager who is well-versed with property laws, regulations, and guidelines related to affordable housing with a bias towards leasing compliance. The ideal candidate should be adept at ensuring all property management operations adhere to the stipulated rules and regulations.
This role will also have a high level of oversight on a new $300 million+ development project. Client Details This position is with a mid-sized organization that specializes in property management services and real estate development on sizable deals and projects, in NY. The company operates in the heart of New York, managing a diverse portfolio of residential properties, caring passionately about changing lives and working to the highest standards with a phenomenal reputation. Description Develop and implement effective compliance programs for property management operations. Monitor and manage all compliance issues concerning property management biased towards leasing over building maintenance. Provide strategic direction on property-related regulatory matters. Evaluate company procedures and reports to identify hidden risks. Ensure all company policies adhere to current property laws and regulations. Manage and organize a team of compliance associates. Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them. Collaborate with different departments to create a culture of compliance within the organization.
