*OVERVIEW OF HRIS ADMINISTRATOR * Motus Recruiting and Staffing is partnering with *Relay Resources* to find a skilled *HRIS Administrator *to support, configure, and enhance our UKG Ready platform. In this role, you'll collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure our systems operate seamlessly, deliver critical insights, and streamline HRprocesses.
The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives on optimization and continuous improvement. We are looking for a systems expert, capable of walking into a complex environment and immediately identifying opportunities to enhance workflows, integrate systems, and unlock the full potential of our UKG Ready platform. Additionally, we are looking for someone who has a proven track record of managing system rollouts, configuring integrations (particularly between HRIS and ERP systems), and developing user-friendly reporting structures that empower organizations to make data-driven decisions.
*Job Location:* Portland, OR. (HYBRID) *DIRECT HIRE!Salary: 100 – 106k, DOE* *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Application Management – 70%* * Act as the Primary Gatekeeper for configuration and administration of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). * Provide subject matter expertise, guidance, and recommendations for HRIS system modules and high-level system overview. * Ensure HRIS is properly and effectively communicating with other Relay systems (ERP, SysAid, etc.). Work with IT team to ensure file transfer and API capabilities are leveraged appropriately. * Create and manage user groups, provision appropriate access to new users and maintain system security architecture. * Validate and confirm new or changed functionalities, communicating regularly with system end users and providing access to SOPs and training opportunities. * Analyze system functionality to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of improving service to end users, escalating incidents to the HRIS vendor product support teams for additional consultation, where necessary. * Analyze HRIS application to identify system and functionality problems’ root causes and work closely with the HRIS vendor product support team to implement solutions in a timely manner. * Analyze HRIS processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement and/or new process incorporation into the application. * Create external process workflows and user documentation for future implementations within HRIS modules. * Collaborate with Business Stakeholders and Business Analysts to build new functionality, workflows, processes, and/or reporting in the application, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, user documentation, and training. * Create system reports and provide scheduled reports for leadership and end user as requested. * Develop, communicate, and maintain HRIS system-related SOPs. * Support the company’s commitment to data governance by protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data. * Accurately record, update, and document requests using the SysAid Helpdesk ticketing system.
*Data Integrity / Quality Assurance – 15%* * Approve end user actions to monitor for accuracy and standardization, as well as review for training opportunities where end users enter incorrect data. * Collaborate with the training department to ensure accuracy of LMS content for HRIS system-related video procedure trainings. * Review system regularly for improvement on workarounds that cause exceptions. * Conduct regular reviews of employee data for the accuracy of system files.
*Other duties as assigned – 15%* * Administer People Operations (HR) SharePoint, ensuring that files are efficiently organized and up to date, incorporating files into HRIS application, when possible. * Provide communication & training for locating source documents on SharePoint. * Investigate and propose new and emerging technologies in HR. * Leverage emerging AI opportunities * Collaborate with the Relay Service Center to determine how HR technologies can support the Relay Resources employee population.
*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:* * 5+ years’ experience in an HRIS Administrator capacity. * Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science. Additional years of related work experience may be used to supersede higher education. * Experience with system implementations and system upgrades and optimizations. * Experience with UKG Ready is preferred. * Advanced project management skills, including documentation, communication, and accountability of project stakeholders. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse community. * Ability to pass background checks as appropriate at any time during employment. * Knowledge of HR regulations, laws, and best practices. * Knowledge and deep understanding of HR functions and processes: performance management, benefits administration, compensation, onboarding, etc. * Ability to manage complex system configurations and integrations.
