We are offering a contract and/or contract-to-hire employment opportunity in the education sector located in CALUMET PARK, Illinois. We are looking for a Bilingual Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Bilingjual Administrative Assistant, you will be key in ensuring smooth operation within our institution, from handling inbound calls to maintaining records. Bilingual Spanish is a must!
The salary range for this position is $18/hr. to $19/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent customer service by answering inbound calls effectively and professionally.
• Act as a point-of-contact for parents, including providing translation services as necessary.
• Ensure all documents are correctly filed and organized for easy access.
• Utilize Microsoft Word for various administrative tasks.
• Manage email correspondence promptly and professionally.
• Operate and manage the usage of office equipment like the copy machine.
• Use Frontline and Skyward software systems for attendance management and other tasks (training will be provided).
• Proven experience in an administrative role within the education industry• Proficiency in answering inbound calls, with an emphasis on providing high-quality customer service
• Excellent email correspondence skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Word for various administrative tasks
• Exceptional organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently
• High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all administrative tasks
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills, demonstrating an ability to address and resolve issues promptly
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining positive relationships with staff, students, and parents
