We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the Transport industry, based in Stockton, California. The individual will be working in a role that includes a wide range of administrative and office support functions, with a focus on Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the coordination of Employee of the Quarter and Years of Service activities.
• Support the Human Resources Department with administrative tasks.
• Handle the processing of monthly invoices.
• Aid in the scheduling of recurring medical renewal appointments.
• Assist with Affordable Care Act reporting and tracking.
• Support the enrollment process for employee benefits.
• Manage the data tracking for COBRA benefits.
• Assist in the preparation of routine correspondence for mass mailings.
• Ensure accurate and timely scanning and filing of Human Resources documents.
• Maintain databases of records, lists, projects, and accounts.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative role within the Transport industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience in answering inbound calls in a detail oriented manner.
• Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls efficiently.
• Proven expertise in data entry tasks.
• Strong email correspondence skills.
• Experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
