Job Details: Our organization is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Consulting CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team for the 2nd shift. This role is pivotal in our manufacturing process, requiring an individual who possesses a deep understanding of CNC machinery, G code, and 3 and 4 axis operations. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-pressure environment. Responsibilities: As a Consulting CNC Lathe Machinist, your main responsibilities will include:
1. Programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathe machines. 2. Interpreting and working from engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models. 3. Developing and optimizing machining processes by adjusting speeds, feeds, and other settings. 4. Using G code and other CNC machine language to program the machine. 5. Performing routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning and lubricating. 6. Ensuring that all parts produced meet quality and efficiency standards. 7. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with machines and production processes. 8. Collaborating with the engineering team to develop new and improved machining processes. 9. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures in the workplace.
Qualifications: To be considered for the Consulting CNC Lathe Machinist role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist in a manufacturing environment. 2. Proficiency in programming and operating CNC lathe machines. 3. In-depth knowledge of G code and other CNC machine language. 4. Experience working with 3 and 4 axis machines. 5. Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models. 6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently. 7. Strong attention to detail, with a focus on producing high-quality work. 8. Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. 9. A commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and procedures in the workplace.
