Job Description
We are seeking an HR Recruiter to join our team in the Motor Freight Forwarding industry based in San Diego, California. This role will primarily involve engaging with potential candidates, coordinating interviews, and extending job offers. You will also be expected to post job vacancies and maintain efficient communication with the hiring manager.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with potential candidates for various roles including labor, packer, loader for warehouses, CDL truck drivers, and detail oriented individuals.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring smooth communication throughout the process.
• Extend job offers to successful candidates in a timely and detail oriented manner.
• Post job vacancies on relevant platforms to attract a wide pool of candidates.
• Maintain open and efficient communication with the hiring manager, passing on suitable candidates for further consideration.
• Conduct background checks on potential candidates to ensure suitability for the role.
• Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, JazzHR, UKG, and Indeed to source potential candidates.
• Perform 5-7 screenings per day using tools such as JazzHR or Indeed, and via phone screenings.
• Maintain a flexible and proactive approach to work, prioritizing tasks as necessary.
• Proficiency in using ATS (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) for efficient management of recruitment processes• Familiarity with CRM systems to maintain and manage candidate relationships effectively
• Expertise in using Applicant Track System for streamlining hiring processes
• Experience in conducting Background Checks to ensure recruitment of suitable candidates
• Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with candidates and hiring managers
• Knowledge of UKG Ready software for efficient HR management
• Proficiency in using Indeed for job postings and candidate sourcing
• Expertise in Recruitment - Sourcing to identify suitable candidates for various job roles
• Strong skills in Sourcing to ensure a steady pipeline of suitable candidates
• Experience in Scheduling interviews and other recruitment activities efficiently
