About The Role
As the People Intern, you will provide valuable support to the Talent Acquisition and Operations branch of The RealReal's People organization. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in candidate attraction and recruitment, new hire onboarding, and HR systems and technology. What You Get To Do Every Day
  • Drive critical diversity initiatives with People Business Partners and DEI Specialist
  • Assist in employer branding activities, leveraging various platforms to engage potential candidates
  • Learn foundational recruitment practices in candidate sourcing and interview shadowing
  • Coordinate and prepare logistics for new hire orientation and onboarding documents
  • Partner cross-functionally with TA Operations, People Tech, Communication, and Total Rewards
  • Build an individual summer-long project from ideation to execution to further The RealReal's talent initiatives
What You Bring To The Role

Minimum Requirements:
  • Full-time (minimum 12 credit hours) undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or related field graduating after December 2025
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Team player able to work effectively and collaboratively across all departments to meet goals
  • Ability to maintain external and internal confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs, Gmail


Compensation, Benefits, + Perks

This role is not eligible for benefits.

The expected hourly rate for this role is 21.00-21.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR's total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
