The hourly pay rate starts at $23/hour and onwards based on experience in the field, plus paid training, and the opportunity to earn up to $4000.00 in incentive bonuses per year.

We provide an in-depth ABA training to assist with growth and knowledge of the field and providing impeccable services to our families. We will also assist in the RBT certification process if you are interested in pursuing your Registered Behavior Technician certification.

We have cases available in the Parker/Castle Rock, CO areas.

Key provides services for children on the autism spectrum directly under the guidance and supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). This position is working in-home implementing ABA (applied behavior analysis) therapy and counselling programs established by a BCBA.

Depending on your location, most of the cases are after school hours, so you must have a flexible schedule for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.

Behavior Technician Job Responsibilities:

Provide one on one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy

Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions

Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans

Work collaboratively with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy

Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families and supervisors

Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work

Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions

Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification Assistance

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED

Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting

1-year ABA Experience

If you are not an RBT, and have no direct ABA experience, 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting.

Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills

Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle

Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record

Must have your own transportation and auto insurance in order to travel between clients

Behavior Technician Physical Requirements :
  • Employee must be able to lift up to 35lbs.
  • Required to perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time.
  • Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children.
  • Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
