Public Works Director

The Position The Public Works Director reports to the Town Manager and is responsible for directly supervising the Public Works Department staff. Other responsibilities include participation and co-management of the Parks, Open Space and Trails (POST) Committee.
Qualifications Minimum Required:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, public administration or related field.
Experience in management/supervision.
At least five years progressively responsible experience in Public Works, including at least three years of experience in supervision.
Experience may substitute for education requirement.
Valid Colorado driver’s license. Preferred:
Master’s degree or PE.
Experience with water treatment and distribution; Class "C" certification Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $140,909 - $204,318 DOQ Benefit Summary in Brief...

Life Insurance $100,000 Employee Policy, plus additional voluntary life insurance available; paid by employee.

Tuition Reimbursement Program Up to $2,500 tuition reimbursement with course completion at “B” or higher.
