Job Summary

The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that elevate awareness of Goodwill's brand, mission, programs, recruiting, and retail promotions.

Essential Responsibilities

Develops and executes organizational marketing, public and media relations strategies, by providing marketing leadership and support for all business partners and program leaders, utilizing marketing tools and methodologies that help achieve business objectives and support the organization's strategic plan. Supervises the Digital Communications and Creative/Design teams, and Event Planner, including hiring, completing disciplinary actions, onboarding, training, coaching and development and performance reviews. Develops and manages the marketing budget, analyzing marketing spend and other financials to forecast annual spend and determine ROI. Implements processes and partnerships to increase media reach and frequency while optimizing spend. Oversees analytical tools to track and monitor all efforts across all marketing channels. Oversees the development and execution of all print and electronic collateral that reflects the organization's brand standards and supports the overall mission. Oversees the design, development and execution of video content, media placement and marketing campaigns that are targeted and promote engagement through the use of social media, email campaigns and text campaigns, the website, and media relations efforts. Develops and executes the content strategy in alignment with the overall brand strategy and increases brand following for social media channels. Manages the work of external consultants and vendors (advertising, PR, graphic design, video, photography, digital, etc.). Develops collaborative partnerships with media and third-party partners and plans, evaluates and executes paid advertising, including digital, social, radio, TV, print, outdoor and other non-traditional media. Plans and manages organizational marketing calendars and comprehensive, fully integrated, multi-channel marketing programs encompassing paid/owned/earned media, through digital, print, web, blogs, TV/radio, social, outdoor, editorial and non-traditional media. Educational Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field, required. Master's degree heavily preferred.

Qualifications

7-10 years of marketing and/or communications experience required, with at least 3 year's supervisory experience in a similar capacity. Must have extensive experience with developing and executing marketing plans and calendars. Must have experience managing and forecasting marketing budgets. Must have extensive experience in media and public relations Advanced leadership skills and business acumen. Mastery of all communication skills, both written and verbal. Advanced Project Management skills. Ability to make decisions in fast-paced environment. Ability to develop and grow internal partnerships and interact cross-functionally with all levels within the organization. Advanced conflict management skills. Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills. Must possess a valid driver's license and personal vehicle. Must be able to travel up to 25%. BENEFITS
