Summary About the Position: Fort Gregg Adams is Home of Logistic Warriors, is a US Army installation located near the Tri-Cities of Petersburg, Colonial Heights, and Hopewell, VA. Fort Gregg Adams is south of Richmond, the Capital of Virginia. There are a number of important missions accomplished by the activities located here. The missions accomplished at Fort Gregg Adams include combat and training development and the professional development of military personnel through various training programs. Responsibilities Director, responsible for the conceptualization of systems and process development to enhance the ability of the Army's Future Force to logistically. Reacts to global threats in a timely manner leveraging artificial intelligence and other advanced software solutions. Requires a comprehensive knowledge of the processes that drive Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leader Development, Policy and how science and technology, experimentation, modeling and simulation. Automated information systems can advance these domains through advanced software solutions. Responsibilities include writing Army doctrine, experimentation and analysis, development of automated information systems, and program management. Serves as CASCOM representative on the HQDA Council of Colonels and on various other colonel-level boards and panels influencing all the sustainment branches and the expeditionary nature of the Army. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) performing work that involves creating and implementing the organization's deployment process; 2) providing assistance on all matters concerning force projection and deployment; And 3) providing guidance on deployment experimentation and automated information management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Mission Execution Planning and Evaluating Program Management Transportation Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
