Medical Customer Service Representative

Location: Melville, NY

LHH is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Customer Service in Melville, NY. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about patient care and medical billing. The position begins as a contract role with the potential for permanent hire, featuring a hybrid work schedule after the initial six months.

Job Responsibilities:

· Answering inbound calls from patients

· Explaining medical bills and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)

· Researching and resolving medical claims issues

· Providing clear and timely follow-up to patients

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in a medical call center

· Excellent data entry and communication skills

· Previous medical billing experience

· Knowledge of medical coding and medical terminology

Compensation:

$21/hr with an increase to $24/hr after conversion

Work Schedule:

This position is fully on-site for the first six months. Afterward, it transitions to a hybrid schedule, allowing you to work three days in the office and two days from home.
