In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team while supporting the US Courts OSCAR program. We are looking for a skilled Mid-Level Business Analyst with experience in SharePoint and expertise in migration projects. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring a smooth transition of content, workflows, and applications to the new SharePoint environment. This role involves requirement gathering, process mapping, and coordinating all phases of the migration lifecycle.Responsibilities Analyze existing SharePoint environments and identify migration requirements. Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement SharePoint migration strategies. Ensure the seamless transfer of data, documents, and workflows to the new platform. Validate post-migration data integrity and resolve discrepancies. Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for SharePoint migration projects. Develop use cases, workflows, and process documentation to ensure alignment with business needs. Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements validation sessions. Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors. Communicate migration progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders. Provide user training and support during and after the migration. Identify opportunities to streamline business processes within the new SharePoint environment. Participate in testing and quality assurance activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT). Document lessons learned and contributed to continuous improvement of migration methodologies.Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on SharePoint projects.Required Skills Hands-on experience with SharePoint migrations (e.g., SharePoint On-Premises to SharePoint Online). Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, including site collections, libraries, workflows, and permissions. Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.Desired Skills Familiarity with third-party SharePoint migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix, AvePoint). Experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI. Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Experience working in agile and waterfall project environments. Basic understanding of scripting or automation for SharePoint (e.g., PowerShell).
