Make your mark with an organization that values quality, service, and the lasting impact you can bring Position is located in Seattle, WA with a Hybrid Work Schedule Position Overview: Associate Business Analysts are responsible for analysis to support the growth and profitability of our products and services. The Associate Business Analyst will evaluate strategic opportunities related to current and future product offerings and business unit operations. With guidance from management, this position conducts industry research and analysis regarding new and existing products and will recommend and implement new pricing and product design strategies required to develop new products, project future results, or reprice existing products. Similar analysis will be done related to Grange business unit operations in order to refine current processes, develop beneficial insights, and improve unit efficiency. Key Responsibilities: You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and uncover valuable insights Utilize analytical tools to explore and analyze queried data, uncovering key trends and patterns. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and conduct in-depth research to support product development and strategic initiatives. Develop and refine analytical models to automate decision-making and reporting processes. Work with teams across the organization, including Marketing, Underwriting, Compliance, IT, Claims, Product Development, and Senior Leadership. Assist in planning and executing small- to medium-scale data-driven projects. Leverage data to identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the achievement of business goals. Qualifications: REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree or four additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Experience with and desire for analytical and statistical methods of problem solving Strong working knowledge of: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Statistics, Math/financial/quantitative skills. Critical thinking skills with the ability to draw conclusions and recommend solutions, while being able to explain complex analytical concepts to a non-technical audience. Excellent communication and relationship building skills with strong focus on customer service and influencing leadership decisions. PREFERRED: Knowledge of PowerBI, SAS, SQL, Radar, or other statistical software Familiarity with insurance product pricing, SERFF system, and ISO products/lines of business Experience with insurance contracts, product pricing, and how state regulations impact the business.
