Job Overview: Search Solution Group is seeking an Account Manager, Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry on behalf of our client, a global leader providing innovative products and services to solve scientific challenges. This role is essential in driving sales, developing customer relationships, and expanding the market presence of the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD). The Account Manager will identify opportunities, develop tailored solutions, and ensure a seamless customer experience to support advancements in research and industry solutions. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development: Identify and prioritize new client opportunities, creating strategies to expand the CMD product portfolio. Increase market share within existing accounts by identifying under-penetrated areas and demonstrating value propositions. Execute all stages of the sales process, including lead qualification, quotations, contract reviews, and deal closures. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and improve market penetration using data-driven insights. Maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales objectives. Customer Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across customer organizations. Provide technical expertise and tailored solutions to meet customer needs. Serve as the primary point of contact for all CMD commercial activities within the account. Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships by offering outstanding support and fostering trust. Leadership and Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including technical sales, field application specialists, and lab experts, to advance the sales process. Attend trade shows, user meetings, and customer events to showcase the CMD product portfolio. Share sales leads and account information within and across divisions. Navigate a team selling environment by engaging internal resources to address customer challenges effectively. Market Awareness and Strategy: Maintain awareness of competitor and industry activities to refine sales strategies. Introduce new products and services to customers to stay competitive and innovative. Provide feedback to internal teams on customer needs and market trends to guide product development and business strategies. Requirements Include: Education: Bachelor's degree in the sciences (required). Experience: 3+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in capital equipment sales. 1+ years of hands-on experience with analytical instruments (Chromatography, HPLC, IC, GC). Skills: Proficient in explaining and selling technical aspects of Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry products. Strong market knowledge and a well-established professional network. Skilled in conducting on-site customer seminars and technical presentations. Proficient in MS Office and CRM software. Certifications: None specified, but industry-related certifications are a plus. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry technology. Knowledge of market trends and customer needs in analytical instrumentation. Additional Information: Work Environment: Remote position with significant travel requirements (up to 70%!,(MISSING) including overnight).
