Job Summary: Provide hardware, software, and network support to faculty, administration and students for Windows/Macintosh computers. Duties/Responsibilities: This job description is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of duties, responsibilities or requirements. Assist students, faculty, and staff on campus including supporting applications, removing viruses, support printing, deploying machines, completing work orders, troubleshooting and resolving Windows issues, and supporting various Internet applications. Connect users to campus network via Ethernet and Wireless. Provide internal support for the Technology Services department, including assistance with general office taks and specific projects as needed. Transport equipment to various locations on campus. Assist with creating images, student accounts, and other miscellaneous duties. Ability to learn quickly. Some experience with working with computer hardware or software. Knowledgeable in PC hardware and Windows operating systems OR Mac hardware and MacOS. Good communication skills. Familiar with computer-based printing. Familiar with e-mail packages and Internet browsers. Knowledgeable in a wide variety of software applications. Some knowledge of HTML and www protocols. Education and Experience: Must be a regular, full-time student, enrolled in at least 12 hours per semester Must have a completed FAFSA on file with Financial Aid for the current academic year Work Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
