Job Description
Kearney & Company is seeking a DEAMS Data Modeler to join our team! The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the Data Analytics Team and interact with DEAMS users in support of the sustainment of the Defense Enterprise Accounting Management System (DEAMS). This candidate is responsible for working with the Defense Enterprise Accounting Management System (DEAMS) Integrated Process Team (IPT) Leads to help ensure the successful sustainment of the Oracle ERP technology and financials modules for DEAMS. Potential candidates must have data analysis experience focusing on comparing disparate data sets from multiple sources. The successful candidate should have solid functional end-to-end AF Financial Management experience, including budget formulation/execution; IRT GAFS and DEAMS Reimbursable processes. Other responsibilities may include: Analyze existing Microsoft PowerBI data modeling to determine the applicable business rules associated with building the logic to tie-out O2C accounting and the P2P cost transfers between direct and reimbursable authority for GAFS and DEAMS transactions Distinguishing and defining Public and Federal posting logic processes that apply assessable units and business processes within the Universe of Transactions (UoT) QDD Determine and perform data extraction protocols, test proposed process, clearly document process Documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) IRT reimbursable process/tools Assist with applying identified business rules and determining appropriate validation procedures within Advana and Envision Participate in working sessions and help in the design and requirements of this tool to fit the needs of both the financial reporting level as well as the base-level Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of technical experience Experience developing large data models Experience with Advana, Envision, or other cloud software enclaves Knowledge of DEAMS system Knowledge of Power BI suite Ability to create efficient data models using Microsoft Power BI Desktop's in-memory technology Understanding of the Department of Defense Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS) and the United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL) Ability to obtain a U.S. secret level security clearance (requires US Citizenship) Must be willing and able to travel as required Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree Experience with Oracle e-Business Suite (eBS) R12 Experience with Oracle Cloud Knowledge of Air Force financial and logistics systems such as Air Force Equipment Management System (AFEMS), Automated Funds Management (AFM), Civilian Pay Accounting Interface System (CPAIS), Central Procurement Accounting System (CPAS), Commanders' Resource Integration System (CRIS), Defense Civilian Payroll System (DCPS), General Accounting and Finance System Base Level (GAFS-BL), General Accounting and Finance System Re-Engineered (GAFS-R), Integrated Accounts Payable System (IAPS), Job Order Cost Accounting System II (JOCAS II), Standard Base Supply System (SBSS), Standard Materiel Accounting System (SMAS), and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) Detailed familiarity with AF Lines of Accounting and financial data elements

This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
