Great Pay/Benefits Growing firm Great Culture Hybrid flexibility Job Details Job Details: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Permanent Estate Planning Tax Attorney to join our dynamic team in the Finance industry. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong background in technical tax, tax planning, and estate planning. This role requires an individual who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high standard of work. As a Permanent Estate Planning Tax Attorney, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax advice and guidance on estate planning matters to our clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and to contribute to the success of our organization. Responsibilities: 1. Provide expert advice on a variety of estate planning matters, including wills, trusts, conservatorships, and probate. 2. Prepare and review complex technical tax memorandums and other legal documents related to estate planning. 3. Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. 4. Advise clients on the tax implications of their estate planning decisions and suggest strategies to mitigate potential tax liabilities. 5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a comprehensive approach to client service and estate planning. 6. Stay abreast of developments in tax law and estate planning to ensure the provision of accurate and up-to-date advice to clients. 7. Handle tax disputes and negotiations with tax authorities on behalf of clients. 8. Provide guidance on the creation, administration, and termination of trusts. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field. 2. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. 3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estate Planning Tax Attorney or in a similar role. 4. Extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations, estate planning, trusts, and conservatorships. 5. Proven experience in preparing technical tax memorandums and other legal documents. 6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. 8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work. 9. Proficiency in using tax software and other relevant computer applications. 10.
