Mid-Level Network/Windows Administrator (HYBRID SCHEDULE)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced
Network/Windows Administrator
with approximately 10 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure, with expertise in Nutanix, Cisco/Meraki, and Fortinet Firewall and Switches. Additionally, proficiency in Windows Active Directory, Entra (Azure AD), and other core Windows environments is essential.
Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure, including Nutanix, Cisco/Meraki, and Fortinet Firewall and Switches. Administer and maintain Windows Active Directory, Entra (Azure AD), and associated services. Ensure high availability and security of network and server systems by performing regular updates, backups, and monitoring. Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues to minimize downtime and improve performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications and services. Develop and document best practices, operational procedures, and network diagrams. Stay current with new technologies and recommend improvements to enhance the company's IT infrastructure. Required Skills and Qualifications:
Approximately 10 years of experience in network and system administration. Hands-on experience with: Nutanix
platform (deployment, maintenance, and optimization). Cisco/Meraki
network solutions. Fortinet Firewall and Switches
configuration and management. Proficiency in
Windows Active Directory , Entra (Azure AD), DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Management. Strong understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting tools. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.G., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services integration. Familiarity with IT security principles and best practices. Preferred Qualifications:
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP), or Microsoft certifications. Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.). Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and implementation. Why Join Us?
