LinQuest is seeking a Software Systems Engineer to work within a cloud computing environment at the client site located in Colorado Springs, CO with an active TS/SCI clearance. This Software Systems Engineer a team that designs, manages, and implements cybersecurity enabling software into over 150 separate satellite base systems.

Responsibilities:

Necessary systems engineering documentation and processes for cloud-based, multi-level security virtualized stack, development, and production cyber operations software to allow integration into other mission systems (ground, space) Capture system architecture with respect to key system requirements, operational and functional components, key interfaces, and data flows Create artifacts will support to cybersecurity accreditation packages to acquire an Authority to Operate (ATO) Enhance test methodology to instill quality of configuration enabling repeatable results, sufficient test cases, regression testing rigor Support continuous integration/continuous testing/continuous delivery (CI/CT/CD) software development processes in a hybrid cloud environment Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, information systems, or related technical fields 12+ yrs experience, with 5+ yrs directly relevant, since they'll be a team of one creating order out of chaoS Hands-on experience with cloud environments in development, test, and operational environments at multiple security levels Knowledgeable in leveraging cloud-provided Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) to facilitate data transfer through multiple environments and engage with cognizant security authorities to gain the necessary approval Knowledgeable in detail designs of satellite systems, ground-based mission systems, or mission operations Hands-on experience with DevSecOps approach and SysML/UML Act as a translator for critical system program managers and cloud engineering performers Design enterprise and systems security throughout the development life cycle; translate technology and environmental conditions into security designs and processes Design and develop security requirements that mitigates risk while maintaining operational capability Develop quantitative success criteria for technical readiness Interface with Government program managers and other Government stakeholders to explain IT goals and mitigations relative to their priorities of cost and schedule An active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position Preferred Skills and Experience:

Cameo and SparxEA knowledge/experience Experience with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), orchestration, automation, and databases Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Security + training/certification, Information Security Systems Manager (ISSM), Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), and/or Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) training/certification/experience Risk management framework (RMF) process/procedure familiarity with experience in security compliance, accreditation, and authorizations Compensation:

The salary for this position ranges from approximately $170,000 to $200,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
