Position Overview QinetiQ US is looking for a DoD Travel Administrator to be a part of a high performing team that leads the travel support services for the Defense Travel System (DTS), passports and visas, Special Area Clearances in the DoD Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS), and other OCONUS/CONUS travel related needs. The ideal team member will be customer focused, provide positive interactions in all situations, proactive, and a problem solver. Responsibilities Provide travel administration support for the Defense Travel System (DTS), including walking users through document processing steps and providing troubleshooting assistance. Provide training for DTS users and operators, and review DTS transactions. Enroll new users in local databases and register profiles, in accordance with policies and procedures, and ensure all users are aware of processing procedures and requirements. Provide guidance regarding business rules and Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) compliance Provide DTS expertise to OUSDP staff including troubleshooting travel issues and reviewing travel authorizations and vouchers. Serve as the first level of review for travel authorizations and vouchers for Policy Conduct audits of OUSDP DTS accounts. Coordinate travel requirements to include local, CONUS and international. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree & (6) six years of in-depth DTS experience required Communication skills to effectively interface with senior military/Civilian officials, managers, and customers. Current DOD Secret clearance is required and eligible for Top Secret.
