Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Product Manager with a deep understanding of consumer products in the flash storage industry. This role is integral to our company's mission of delivering high-quality, innovative products to meet the needs of our global consumer retail business. The Technical Product Manager will play a crucial role in driving product strategy, managing product development, and fostering successful partner relationships. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Product Strategy: Develop and execute product strategies to drive the growth and profitability of our flash storage-attach products in the consumer market segment. Product Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, ensuring that product development meets the needs of our customers and aligns with our business goals. Market Analysis: Continuously analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for new products or product enhancements. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless product development and successful market launches. Partner Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including retailers and distributors, to expand our market presence and grow revenue. Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide them with the necessary tools, resources, and product knowledge to drive sales and achieve revenue targets. Marketing Support: Support marketing efforts by providing product insights, market research, and guidance on product positioning and messaging. Business Development: Explore new business opportunities and potential partnerships to drive the company's growth in the consumer retail sector. International and Domestic Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed for partner meetings, trade shows, and market research. Qualifications
REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus. 5+ years of experience in global consumer retail business, preferably in the flash storage industry. Strong understanding of flash storage products and technologies. Demonstrated aptitude for partner relations and building successful, long-term relationships. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. PREFERRED: Sales and marketing experience is a strong plus. Business development experience is a strong plus. SKILLS: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities. Additional Information

Compensation & Benefits Details An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, and business needs. The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. You will be eligible to participate in Western Digital’s Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance.
