The Senior Tax Manager role is a pivotal leadership position within our firm, offering the opportunity to oversee and manage a portfolio of tax engagements. The Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for leading a team of tax professionals, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tax returns, and providing strategic tax planning advice to high net worth clients. With a focus on client service excellence, this role will cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on complex estate and trust tax matters. Additionally, they will play a key role in business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities for growth and expanding our client base. Responsibilities:

Prepare and review complex gift, estate, and fiduciary income tax returns, including related schedules and forms. Provide tax planning and consulting to our firm's high net worth client for estate, trust and individual income taxes. Research and consult on various estate, gift, and trust related issues, such as trustee and beneficiary issues, Crummey obligations, and generation skipping tax. Devise innovative solutions for complex tax issues, leveraging deep understanding of tax laws and regulations. Develop strategic solutions to complex tax problems, considering both short-term and long-term implications. Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends through regular reading and participation in professional development activities. Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures throughout all stages of client engagements. Identify areas for improvement in firm processes and take proactive steps to address operational inefficiencies. Ensure adherence to professional standards and best practices to deliver high-quality work to clients consistently. Identify and implement estate and income tax planning opportunities for clients. Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing clients to deepen engagement and drive additional business opportunities. Expand the firm's client base by networking within the business community and leveraging personal and professional connections. Play a proactive role in recruiting and staffing decisions, including interviewing, hiring, and on-boarding new team members. Contribute to the development and delivery of internal training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members. Provide ongoing mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field Master's degree in accounting, tax or related field is preferred CPA license or JD required Minimum five (5) years of experience preparing and reviewing tax returns Excellent analytical and technical tax experience with an emphasis in High Net Worth and Gift, Estate and Trust Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, results-based team environment Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, and strong attention to detail There are many reasons to join the Sensiba team: generous benefits, competitive compensation, professional advancement opportunities, and above all - our people.
