a Cloud Architect
to join an established Electronics Manufacturing company. This is a
hybrid
position and would require you to be
onsite 3 days
a week in
Atlanta, GA
. The
Cloud Architect
will be responsible designing, implementing, and managing cloud architecture solutions that align with organizational goals while ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
Responsibilities of the Cloud Architect: •Develop and implement cloud architecture strategies to support business objectives. •Design and deploy scalable and secure cloud infrastructures for public, private, and hybrid environments. •Evaluate and recommend cloud service providers and solutions based on performance, cost, and business needs. •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful cloud solution integration. •Monitor and optimize cloud costs through strategies like rightsizing, autoscaling, and resource scheduling.
Qualifications Cloud Architect: •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree is a plus). •5+ years of experience in cloud architecture with expertise in designing and implementing solutions. •Strong understanding of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). •Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). •Expertise in cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance. •Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and practices. •Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. •Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) highly desirable.
Compensation for the Cloud Architect:
Salary:
$170,000-$200,000 depending on experience
