Gatehouse Administration Center Description

Directs a large broad-based multi-sectioned office in the Department of Human Resources responsible for employee services and operations (ESO) functions and/or programs; plans, organizes, supervises, and evaluates all activities, program functions, personnel, and physical and fiscal resources of the ESO office; including overseeing compensation, classification, salary structures, and organizational structure through the Division; enforces, manages, reviews and updates policies and regulations to ensure legislative compliance and operational efficiency; manages salary scales and work schedule calendar development and implementation; oversees the employee recognition program as well as Client Services that provides front-line support to FCPS new hires and employees; collaborates across the Division to maximize operational services efficiency; is responsible and accountable for strategic planning and outcomes. Qualifications

Required Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a master's degree in human resources, public administration, business administration, business management, or a directly related discipline. Six (6) years of experience in human resources with a primary focus on compensation, workforce management, organizational development, and policy administration, some of which shall have been in a supervisory or leadership role. Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.

Knowledge of organizational development strategies, including workforce planning, organizational design, and compensation structures. Knowledge of implementation, and management of equitable and competitive salary structures and classification systems. Knowledge of policies, procedures, and mandates related to employee services and operations, and the PreK-12 environment. Ability to devise and maintain compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to federal, state and local laws, regulations, and guidelines for employee services functions. Ability to conduct complex administrative studies and recommend innovative solutions to improve workforce management and operational outcomes. Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting. Ability to manage fiscal, physical, and human resources necessary to carry out the office's employee services functions and programs. Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement policies and strategies that drive operational efficiencies and align with regulatory requirements and organizational priorities. Ability to supervise and lead highly effective teams. Ability to conduct complicated administrative studies. Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with personnel assigned to schools, other departments, public entities, and citizens. Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Preferred Experience in human resources operations and services, as well as project management. Senior Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-SPHR or SCP). Salary Range

$130,304 - $198,228 Salary Grade
