Director of Labor Analytics & HRIS Job Summary
The Director Labor Analytics and HRIS is responsible for the tactical strategies related to Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and workforce management analytics and planning. Through the optimization of HR technology and data analytics, this position will advance workforce management processes to support the organization's workforce goals, improve operational efficiencies, and enable data-driven decision-making. The position works closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to champion a culture of data-driven decision-making, promoting the use of HRIS tools and workforce analytics with business objectives to ensure that workforce planning supports the organization’s priorities.
HRIS Management & Optimization:
In collaboration with executive leadership (CFO & VPHR) develop and manage the HRIS strategy, ensuring the system supports financial and HR functions, including payroll, talent management, compensation, benefits, performance, and employee data management. Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the HRIS platform(s), ensuring integration with other systems (e.g., finance, time management systems, etc.). Collaborate with organizational leaders (Finance, HR, IT, etc.) to design, configure, and customize HRIS systems to meet business needs. Ensure data integrity; accurate, up-to-date, compliant with reporting standards and within HRIS systems. Provide support for HRIS system upgrades, enhancements, and system troubleshooting. Monitor HRIS usage to ensure the system is functioning efficiently and effectively; recommend improvements and automation to improve HR and Payroll processes. Workforce Planning and Analysis:
Support the development and delivery of workforce planning methodologies, training and forecasts aligned to business objectives. Develop, implement, and deliver workforce metric reporting; key performance indicators/metrics (KPI’s) and dashboards to provide leadership with timely, actionable insights. Utilize workforce data to measure and support workforce forecasting, staffing and cost analysis and workforce initiatives. Ensure data integrity; accurate, up-to-date, compliant with reporting standards and within HRIS systems. Develop and deliver training on scheduling platform, workforce analysis and methodologies. Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure alignment between HRIS capabilities, workforce planning needs and business objectives. Skills/Competencies:
Ability to understand and apply people analytics to enable data-driven, strategic decisions. Advanced data analysis, project management, and presentation design skills. Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Specific Educational/Vocational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred; advanced certifications in workforce planning or analytics a plus. 5+ years relevant work experience, HR, Finance Analytics. Significant experience in workforce planning methodologies and analytics, and/or strategic HR consulting, with a proven track record of leading large-scale workforce initiatives. Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience working with UKG, Power BI, and other HRIS/analytics platforms and data sets. Benefits of Joining our Team:
