Family Medicine Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Practice Near Bost

About the facility A primary care practice is seeking a family medicine physician for locum tenens coverage. About the facility location The facility is located 35 min from Boston, MA. About the clinician's workday This outpatient clinic offers a flexible schedule, Monday through Friday, with options for 32 clinical hours and 8 administrative hours weekly. Providers can choose between an 8 AM-5 PM or 11 AM-8 PM shift, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch. A 4-day clinical schedule with a 5th admin day is also available. Physicians may rotate through a 4-hour Saturday shift approximately every 7th or 8th week, though participation is optional. The EMR system is EPIC, and credentialing takes 40-60 days. Support staff includes nurses, MAs, APPs, social workers, RN case managers, and pharmacists, with 13 clinicians in total covering obstetrics, pediatrics, and adult medicine. Candidates must hold a Massachusetts license, DEA, and BLS certification and be board-certified or truly board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice. While English-speaking providers are welcome, Cantonese/Mandarin speakers are preferred. COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exemptions available.
