Family Medicine Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Practice Near Bost

About the facility A primary care practice is seeking a family medicine physician for locum tenens coverage. About the facility location The facility is located 35 min from Boston, MA. About the clinician's workday This position offers a flexible Monday through Friday schedule, with 32 clinical hours and 8 administrative hours weekly, and a 1-hour unpaid lunch. A 4-day clinical week with a fifth admin day is an option, or a traditional 5-day schedule is available. Physicians rotate through a 4-hour Saturday shift every 7th to 8th week, though this is not mandatory. The provider will manage a caseload of approximately 16 patients daily (out of 20 scheduled), with appointments ranging from 15-30 minutes, depending on experience. The patient population is all adults, with no new patients being accepted at this time. Support includes a team of nurses, MAs, APPs, social workers, RN case managers, and pharmacists, with a total of 13 clinicians in practice. EPIC is the EMR system used. Candidates must hold a Massachusetts license, DEA, and BLS, and be board-certified or truly board-eligible. Cantonese/Mandarin speakers are preferred, though English-only speakers are welcome. COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exemptions available. Credentialing takes 40-60 days.
