Title:
EPIC Claims/Professional Billing Analyst Location : Multi-Region (Northeastern, Southeastern, and Midwestern U.S.)
Description: The EPIC Claims/Professional Billing Analyst will support clinical operations by managing, maintaining, and optimizing EPIC professional billing systems. The role involves analyzing workflows, configuring solutions, testing upgrades, troubleshooting issues, and providing training to end users. The analyst will work collaboratively across teams to improve operational efficiency, resolve system-related challenges, and ensure successful implementations of new features or system enhancements.
Responsibilities: Analyze workflows and system requirements to recommend and implement technology solutions. Configure and test EPIC professional billing systems, ensuring seamless pre- and post-upgrade transitions. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, documenting and analyzing results for system improvements. Provide technical support to end users, including troubleshooting and 24/7 secondary support as part of a team rotation. Collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to address EHR-related issues and optimize system functionality. Assist in planning and executing full lifecycle system implementations, including building workflows, creating documentation, and monitoring project plans. Evaluate new releases of EPIC systems and recommend implementation strategies for new features. Train and mentor team members on system functionality and processes. Continuously explore new technologies and solutions to enhance operational performance.
Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in business systems, software design, or project management. Equivalent experience or alternate degrees will be considered. Professional Billing EPIC Certification is required. 5+ years of experience in supporting EPIC systems, including workflow analysis and configuration. 1-2 years of experience specifically with Professional Billing systems. Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows. Proven ability to troubleshoot, document, and test systems efficiently. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in team settings.
Desired Skills: Certification in additional EPIC applications is preferred. Experience working in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines. Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and workflows.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Pay range: $75,000-$135,000/year
