Scrum Master III

The Scrum Master III for the Heartland Integrations team will play a pivotal role in guiding cross-functional teams, including Developers, Solution Architects, and QA, toward delivering high-quality integration solutions. This role will focus on ensuring Agile practices are adhered to, enabling the team to operate efficiently and meet sprint goals. As a Scrum Master III, you will drive continuous improvement, provide coaching, and foster a collaborative environment, ensuring that the team remains aligned with project objectives and business priorities. Act as a servant leader and Agile coach for the Heartland Integrations team, which includes Developers, Solution Architects, and QA members. Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Partner closely with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined and actionable. Proactively identify and remove impediments or blockers impacting the team's progress. Track and analyze key metrics such as velocity, burndown rates, and quality to drive team performance and transparency. Mentor team members on Agile best practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality delivery. Ensure alignment between team deliverables and business objectives, collaborating with stakeholders to set priorities. Lead by example to foster a supportive team culture that encourages collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Mentor and support other Scrum Masters and Agile practitioners within the organization.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification; advanced Agile certifications (e.g., CSP-SM, A-CSM) are a plus. 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, including experience managing cross-functional teams in a technology-driven environment. Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and experience with scaling Agile practices. Demonstrated success in facilitating high-functioning teams and promoting an Agile mindset. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with a focus on driving consensus and fostering teamwork. Proficiency in Agile project management tools, such as Jira or Rally. Analytical skills with an ability to leverage metrics to improve team performance and decision-making. Experience in an integration or transaction-heavy environment is beneficial.
