Systems Administrator

We are looking for an experienced

Systems Administrator

with

expertise in Microsoft Intune, SCCM, M365, and Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools . The ideal candidate will have a

strong background in endpoint device management and security , as well as a proven ability to address complex systems challenges independently and collaboratively. This

is an on-site position based in Grand Prairie/Irving/Las Colinas , with

occasional evening, night, or weekend

work required to meet system support needs. The role also includes participation in a

rotating on-call schedule

and may involve limited travel to remote office locations. The position involves providing

day-to-day administration and support for systems hardware and applications, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues with minimal supervision , and working closely with team members to maintain optimal system performance.

Primary Function: Infrastructure Management:

Planning, preparing, and managing system infrastructure, including active directory infrastructure, computer and network equipment, SaaS systems, cloud environments, virtualization, databases, and other software and hardware. Adaptability:

Quickly adapting to obstacles and changes to maintain system performance and reliability. Problem-solving:

Evaluating systems, identifying and anticipating areas for improvement, and recommending innovative solutions. Leadership:

Leading systems projects teams and mentoring junior team members. Security:

Monitoring, evaluating, and maintaining systems and procedures to protect our data systems and databases from threats. Automation:

Writing custom scripts and using remote monitoring and management tools to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency. Teamwork:

Collaborating with colleagues to ensure projects are completed effectively and efficiently. Innovation:

Thinking outside "the box", challenging the status quo, and offering new ideas to improve our IT systems and processes. Responsibilities:

Identify, anticipate, troubleshoot, and proactively respond to/ correct all levels of and system problems for Microsoft Windows, SQL Server, Active Directory and Group Policy, Hyper-V, PKI, SCCM/Intune, Kaseya VSA, Microsoft 365, network storage, print servers, and other server/client applications. Deliver applications using deployment systems, oversee upgrades and enhancements, and coordinate application lifecycles. Analyze, document, package, test, and software patches/rollups per company security standards and to ensure workstations and servers are in compliance. Monitor and report system security, performance, and events utilizing system monitoring tools such as Kaseya VSA, SCCM, and Intune. Participate in the on-call rotation. Periodically visits remote facilities to perform maintenance, deployment, installation, inventory, etc. Assist in the organization and inventory of all hardware and software resources. Works with IT Team in planning and implementing system security, managing host security, file permissions, and file system integrity, and adding and deleting users. Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology, specifically in a Windows Server Administrator role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to create and maintain clear, concise technical documentation. Expertise in system performance optimization and configuration. Proficiency in operating system hardening, deployment, virtualization, and template management. Interest in advancing cybersecurity knowledge and experience. Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Dell servers and PCs, and network printers. Knowledge of storage hardware and network storage technologies. Advanced troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software. Demonstrated quality customer service skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Strong organizational and communication skills with proven problem-solving abilities. A creative, out-of-the-box thinker with a willingness to learn and adapt. Capable of effectively resolving internal and external customer issues across all levels of the organization. Technical Expertise:

Holds active technical certifications from vendors such as Microsoft, VMware, Palo Alto, or AWS. Extensive experience in system design, implementation, and management, including: Microsoft Server 2019+ Active Directory, M365, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Intune Microsoft SQL Server, RDS, and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Network storage technologies (iSCSI, Fiber) PowerShell, batch scripting, and automation LAN/WAN network technologies, including TCP/IP, Subnetting, Firewalls, and VLANs Proficient in Hyper-V and Failover Clustering with expertise in SAN optimization. Experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools. Familiarity with the STIG process, SCAP tools, and STIG Viewer is a plus. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and PKI. Experience with McAfee ePO for security management. Physical and Mental Requirements:

Ability to make decisions, which have a moderate impact on the immediate work unit. Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions. Must be able to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation. Occasionally perform tasks while standing and walking up to 50% of the time. Reach, bend, kneel, and have a high level of manual dexterity. Will often be required to lift and carry up to 45 pounds or more. Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
