Responsibilities
- Develop and execute financial plans, budgets, and forecasts that align with our business objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance for the finance team, working closely with other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to achieve our goals.
- Manage financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and other regulatory filings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and requirements.
- Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- CPA or CFA certification a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on developing talent and creating a positive work environment.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements, including GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
- In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks desktop.
- Experience with Procore.
- Knowledge of ERP integration with QuickBooks Enterprise Contractor and Procore.
