We are hiring a Chief Financial Officer for a Boston-based general contractor. As CFO, you will be a key member of our leadership team, overseeing our financial operations and providing strategic guidance for our growth. Responsibilities
Develop and execute financial plans, budgets, and forecasts that align with our business objectives. Provide leadership and guidance for the finance team, working closely with other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders. Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to achieve our goals. Manage financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and other regulatory filings. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and requirements. Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial reporting. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred. CPA or CFA certification a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on developing talent and creating a positive work environment. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements, including GAAP and SEC reporting standards. In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks desktop. Experience with Procore. Knowledge of ERP integration with QuickBooks Enterprise Contractor and Procore. Benefits
